Banner logic

The advisory banners are based on Kastrup / DMI station 06180. Drogden Fyr is shown for context, but it does not decide the club-gear status.

Back to dashboard

Red banner โ€” club gear not allowed

The red banner appears when Kastrup reports unsafe conditions for club equipment.

  • It activates after two consecutive Kastrup readings where either average wind is above 10.0 m/s or gust is at least 14.0 m/s.
  • Once active, it remains active until there has been one full hour of safe Kastrup readings.
  • Safe means average wind is at or below 10.0 m/s and gust is below 14.0 m/s.
  • Any unsafe Kastrup reading during that hour resets the one-hour safe period.

Yellow / orange banner โ€” increased caution

The yellow/orange banner is for beginners and intermediate riders.

  • It appears when the latest Kastrup average wind is from 8.0 m/s up to below 10.0 m/s.
  • It uses average wind only. Gusts do not affect this banner.
  • It updates immediately with the latest Kastrup reading.

Green banner โ€” good club-gear range

The green banner is a general positive signal for club-gear conditions.

  • It appears when the latest Kastrup average wind is from 4.0 m/s up to below 8.0 m/s.
  • It uses average wind only. Gusts do not affect this banner.
  • It updates immediately with the latest Kastrup reading.

Priority and history slider

  • The red rule always wins. If red is active, yellow and green are suppressed.
  • The advisory banner always follows the latest Kastrup reading.
  • The 24-hour history slider is only for inspecting older data. Moving the slider does not change the advisory banner.
  • Drogden Fyr / station 06183 is never used for the banner logic.
